There are too many words to describe this festival. Let's start this off by saying Coachella is amazing BUT.. if it's your first time like it was for me - don't expect anything. Everything I expected whether it be bad or good, went the complete opposite. I feel like future Chella's will go pretty well now but let's just say having your camera, that you were in the biggest rush to get before the festival, die the first day by 4PM doesn't tell you that you will never win your first Coachella.. IDK WHAT WILL. In all honesty after two hours I got over it. I was super excited to do more of a fashion standpoint vlog but once that happened & I was there I just wanted to experience Coachella at that point. So I'd definitely say my video is more of just a recap of the weekend of whatever I did get when my phone wasn't dying. I'm done complaining (maybe) so now let's get on with the actual festival part. So my friend Jess & I left to Coachella Thursday in the middle of the night. We got to the festival (which is the hardest place to find or maybe we're just a little dumb) at around 12PM. We did car camping which I 100% recommend because that was some of my favorite parts of the whole weekend. We had one of those pop up tents and we finished setting up everything within an hour. Day one, I got ready really fast because all I needed to do was my makeup & change. I didn't do anything with my hair because it was soooo hot. The last thing I wanted was my hair down and on my melting makeup. My outfit for day one was definitely my favorite because it was comfortable. I was basically just wearing a swimsuit so the heat was really manageable & I def recommend wearing something really light & flowy like that. The swimsuit I got about a year back so I will link a similar one you can get here. My white kimono is from Lulu's & the lace detail was soo pretty. It had an extra flawy layer going down on the sides & I really loved the length on the arms. I wore this with a western style belt from ASOS making the outfit look more put together & festive. I also got this belt to match the black & silver on my boots that are from Steve Madden. Last but not least, my new favorite sunglasses that I felt made the outfit even better are from ASOS as well. Day two, I actually bought half of my outfit there at Coachella. I follow a lot brands on IG that were announcing their pop up shops so I brought some pieces with me to wear with whatever I found. In the car camping area they had a few shops & I chose to shop Trendy & Tipsy. That is where the lace bralette & floral tie up crop top is from. They had tons of cute stuff so if you are ever looking for festival clothes, def go & follow their IG & take a look at what they have. With the tops I got from there, I wore it with a GUESS denim two tone skirt & GUESS two strap sandals in red. I also wore a fanny pack which made my life a million times easier & it's from ASOS. I was actually going to wear this outfit with these flare jeans from Free People & some booties but it was too hot. Day 3, I wore a romper from Planet Blue with some strappy sandals from ASOS that had gold coin detailing that made them perf for the festival. I also wore almost the same sunglasses as the previous days but these ones were round instead. I believe that's it when it comes to my outfits.
